The route descriptions for canyons in The Kingdom area of Halls Creek describe the shortcut route into which is shorter than the Old Airstrip Route into Halls Creek.  Both routes are commonly used.  The Shortcut Route is shorter and does not need a high clearance vehicle, saving time on the long journey in. If you prefer to use the Old Airstrip Route you can get the information on the page I created for the route.  It is non-technical but commonly used to approach technical routes making it an appropriate fit here.
